EQUALEFT, the groove masters. I believe this was the first show I’ve been to where Miguel didn’t wield his lightsaber during “Invigorate”. But he was busy holding Sheila, the venue’s sex doll mascot, so…  Sheila had perished last year, precisely at … Continue reading →

This gallery contains 78 photos.

This TALES FOR THE UNSPOKEN gig wasn’t much different from the one I’d seen 6 days before – just a better stage, at a better partying venue, and therefore better pics.  We did learn a couple of new things though: that the single/video … Continue reading →

UNEARTH @ Hard Club, 2015/05/22

Posted on August 1, 2015 by Pieni

Originally posted in Valkyrian Music. A big part of the crowd had high expectations regarding UNEARTH and those expectations were totally met. And the Massachusetts metalcore band also seemed very pleased with the Portuguese – I couldn’t see Trevor Phipps’ face when he … Continue reading →

DRONE @ Hard Club, 2015/05/22

Posted on July 30, 2015 by Pieni

Originally posted in Valkyrian Music. German post-thrashers DRONE were the first ones on stage, bringing to life the expression “warm-up act”. The venue was far from full yet, but the response they got from the crowd made it sound like the almost … Continue reading →
