Thirteen years and five albums later, Canadian KATAKLYSM performed in Portugal for the second time in their career. The set list they’d been playing on the European festivals – and even the North American tour – had been a kind of “best of”, not focusing on a specific album (not even the most recent “Unconquered”, despite its artwork printed on the backdrop), so listening to all those levels of history, after such a long absence, felt special. Maurizio Iacono recalled that concert in Porto, before introducing “Underneath The Scars”, and both band and crowd made the waiting worthwhile.
