It’s become a habit to name a musical genre after the lyric themes of the band, and as WIND ROSE sing about dwarves and J.R.R. Tolkien in general, they’re often labelled as “dwarf metal”. But what the Italians play is indeed a mix of folk with power metal, featuring all the vigor that depict both genres. “Warfront” had been released about two weeks before and many were already familiar with songs such as “Gates Of Ekrund” and “Together We Rise”; but the biggest party took place during “Mine Mine Mine!” and “Diggy Diggy Hole”.
