Original Portuguese version on World Of Metal.
The “weight” went up a notch with DOWNFALL OF MANKIND‘s slamming/symphonic deathcore. Yeah, I agree it’s a somewhat flamboyant label but their sound is indeed more exquisite than any other ‘core we have around here, mixing somber orchestral samples with the most drastic breakdowns. Gaspar Ribeiro, who would get on stage next with EQUALEFT, has been sitting behind the drum kit in the last few gigs, but “Bow To The Crown” had his predecessor Diogo Mota reminding the Porto crowd why he’s one of the most acclaimed drummers of the national underground. “The Path Of Human Existence” is the debut EP and the only work released to date, therefore played in full, but they have a few tricks up their sleeve that allowed them a classy full-hour gig. If I’m not mistaken, they finished with “Beneath The Aftermath”.
