W.A.K.O.‘s performance dampened a little CONTRADICTION‘s. It was late, yes, but nine years ago, at Metalpoint, it was even later and the crowd’s response was a lot more expansive. And since they play that typically German thrash – “Teutonic”, to use their own definition – and it was presented as it should have been, if we weren’t still recovering from the previous show, we would’ve reacted a lot more for sure. Still we managed a damn fine 30th anniversary party, which is the reason for the current tour (the latest record is still the 2014 “The Origin Of Violence”).
