I was sure I had never seen NEBULOUS before, so either ENDAMAGE had changed their name and recruited HEAVENWOOD-Marcelo for the drums, or they had got together under a new name and started another band from scratch. It was the latter, in a much more refined result.
Last time I’ve seen ENDAMAGE it was precisely in another W:O:A Metal Battle, in 2011, and if memory serves me well, they were a death metal band. Some progressive hint was starting to surface, but not like this. NEBULOUS is a progressive / experimental metal band of high quality, both on stage and in the studio. They’ve released their self-titled debut album late last year and it was welcomed by the critics (including my boss at Sound(/)Zone). The setlist for this gig was entirely taken from it (seven out of the nine songs, the instrumental “Contemplation” one of them) and it assured them a spot in the final round of this Metal Battle. Well deserved!
Great info. Lucky me I discovered your website by chance (stumbleupon).
