» Also for the first time in our country were the Finns KALMAH. The “Swamplords” started shredding right away with “Hook The Monster” and “They Will Return”. Pekka Kokko said it was a pleasure to be there, that back in Finland he was wondering if he should come or not, but when looking at us, he had definitely made the right decision. He thanked us and said he would take us all into “Swamphell”.
Before asking our help to sing the chorus in “For The Revolution”, Pekka asked if we could scream. Singers are never satisfied with the first roar of the audience and always say something taunting to make them scream louder, but I think I’d never heard something as funny as “Ah, Portugal, a bunch of Mickey Mouses”.
“Enough of speed” were the words he used to introduce “The Black Waltz”, but I’m not sure the mosh and crowdsurf slowed down.
Welcoming us to “Hades”, KALMAH played their last song. «
