Original Portuguese version on World Of Metal.
One of the promoters of this event told me he considered César Alves “the best guitarist he’s ever met”; that plus the fact that THE INSANE SLAVE are working on the follow-up to their self-titled album and all songs featured in that night’s set list were premieres of said unreleased work are more than valid motives for them to headline the first edition of The Skull Room Rockfest – and they closed it with a golden key.
New material and new blood, as it was also the first time that Pedro Pereira (drums) and Vasco Pereira (bass) set foot on stage as part of the band – the latter with just “half a dozen of rehearsals”. THE INSANE SLAVE played the most indie genre of the night and songs such as “Ghosts Of Fire”, “Son Of The Road” or “Streets Of Oporto” promise a great album.
