We didn’t know it at the time, but Laurus witnessed the last show of singer Patrícia Andrade and bass player Fernando Matias with SINISTRO. On stage, Patrícia lived in a world of her own, using a body language clearly developed in theatre school, and therefore “Cidade”, “Relíquia” or “Cosmos Controle” will never be seen or heard in the same way they were that night. Even without the slide projection and light show that usually contextualize their sludge/post-metal, it was an exquisite unannounced farewell.
