KILLUS were SISTER‘s special guests, a Spanish industrial metal band that I had never heard of before. Damn, what I’d been missing! Those guys are freaking good! They’ve been around as long as SISTER have (since 2005) but have a bigger discography (four albums already). Their latest effort, “Feel The Monster”, was released in May 2013, and KILLUS’ choice to focus on it was only natural. Still they showed us a little bit of all previous albums. “Dead Revolution”, from the debut “God Bless Us”, was even given that special task of ending the show. And what a show that was. Rocksound’s stage is small but they made it look huge with their restless stage attitude – which included synched jumps from guitarist Ruk and bass player Premutoxx. And yes, the photographer in me just fell in love with the crazed faces soaked in makeup, the poses in such typical industrial garments… but the music lover in me was also having a blast. It’s really a shame that they only supported SISTER on the Spanish dates, as they deserved the full pack of dates.
