DARK TRANQUILLITY is that kind of band that never lets you down when it comes to live shows. 
Promoting “Construct” (released in May), they played those most recent songs in the beginning… and “Uniformity” was the encore – which Mikael Stanne made us believe that it had been a last minute call, since we had been such a wonderful crowd… In-between there was a complete roll of classics, including “Silence And The Firmament Withdrew”, “A Bolt Of Blazing Gold” and “Undo Control” – these last two with the participation of TRISTANIA-Mariangela. She did better here than with her own band, but maybe it’s just the quality of the music that’s way higher…
On Valkyrian Music I listed my top-5 gigs of 2013. If it had been 10, this one would surely be there – even if they were playing with bass samples, since no one replaced Daniel Antonsson.
