There’s always more than what people know about a certain place and APOTROPAICO proved Ibiza doesn’t offer just Mediterranean beaches. Like they advertise themselves, their Ibizan metal gives “powerful riffage and a metal sound that switches between classic and thrash”. And so it was their gig. Their sophomore album “Under Control” was released in 2020, from which we listened to, among others, its title-track and “Party Of Death”, and they were working on its successor, giving us a taste of it with “Scars”.
