Last year, Laurus Nobilis festival did a Christmas event in Porto (not Famalicão). LEGACY OF CYNTHIA was supposed to be the opening act, but singer Peter Miller broke a leg and the band had to cancel their appearance. I was sorry to hear that – not only because I know what it feels like to break a bone but also because I really wanted to see LEGACY again; but since I’d been positively surprised by OUIJAH just the prior month (see here), at least the replacement was good news. Too bad the venue wasn’t nearly as full as I’d expected – all bands involved and the festival deserved way more. Still I had my share of fun, and hopefully so did all the others who attended.
