MIDNIGHT PRIEST weren’t the first ones suffering from an extremely high volume, but they were the first having their sound distorted by such unbalance. Especially Lex Thunder‘s voice, whose words became barely understandable – even those sung in Portuguese. Luckily the crowd knew all the lyrics and by singing along to them – whether they were oldies like “Rainha Da Magia Negra” and “À Boleia Com o Diabo” or newbies such as “Aggressive Hauntings” or “Iron Heart” – it didn’t seem to matter if they could hear Lex or not. Plus, the “heavy metal attitude” the band’s popular for made this show quite entertaining.
