Formed in Greece but currently based in Sweden, NIGHTRAGE was the melodic death metal act chosen to open for Canadian VOIVOD (yay, globalization!) on their 35th anniversary tour.
“Wolf To Man” was released in March this year, so back then the most recent tracks we listened to were “Affliction”, “From Ashes Into Stone”, “In Abhorrence” and “The Venomous”. Not that I’m complaining! Can’t exactly remember the first time I’ve heard NIGHTRAGE but I’m pretty sure it was back when MySpace was the coolest social network… So when you finally have the chance to see them live, after all these years, with the charismatic Ronnie Nyman (whom I’ve known from ALWAYS WAR and TRIA) on vocals, you don’t really care which songs are featured on the setlist.
