We all had bad days and this was one of them for SHADOWSPHERE – or at least to my eyes (and ears). Maybe I was just expecting more, after the great show I’d seen three months prior, at Cave 45 (see here). They felt… off, and I felt as if I was watching a rehearsal instead of a real gig (to quote one of my best friends, who was just as disappointed as me). And no, it had nothing to do with drummer Barroso (SKINNING) who was doing them a favor, as the band’s still lacking a full-time drummer in their ranks. Looking forward for brighter days!
