After POWERWOLF left the stage, the crowd gradually split in four: those who went away immediately; those who intended to stay but eventually gave up after a half-hour delay; those who left when they realized BATUSHKA wasn’t their cup of tea; and the liturgical black metal fans who stood their ground until the last chord of “Yekteniya VIII: Spaseniye”. The Polish band, whose members hide their identities under clerical cassocks, played their debut album “Litourgiya” in full, and for the lovers of the genre, the second day of the festival couldn’t have ended in better way.
