My first gig this year was Round #5 of Wacken Metal Battle, promoted by SWR Inc. (as usual ). Also as usual, if the first band isn’t local, doesn’t have a very popular name in the underground and didn’t bring many friends along, the chances of playing to a big crowd are quite slim. That’s what happened to these kids from Viana do Castelo. Too bad, as their metal-with-sludge-vibe was pretty okay.
