Yeah, Samantha Fox… She played before EUROPE on this little fest, promoted in order to celebrate a new waterpark in Vila Real, so I had to endure it.

I didn’t know she had any more songs besides “Touch Me”, let alone that, 25 years later, she still had an active career as a musician. But given the fact she performed 3 covers in less than an hour…  When she was confirmed for this fest, my sister had told me Sam and Sabrina had a (terrible) new song together. What she failed to tell me was that the song was BLONDIE‘s “Call Me”. The other 2 covers were Dusty Springfield‘s “I Only Want To Be With You” (I’ve lost count by now of how many covers of this have been made) and KINGS OF LEON‘s “Sex On Fire”.

Sam had 3 dancers with her, Rachel, Danni and Becky, but she did a lot of dancing herself.

Ah well. It could have been worse…
