VËLLA‘s more alternative sound, but just as welcome, was saved for last. “Coma” was released in March 2020 and new songs are already rolling (“to those who don’t know us, it’s all the same anyway”, said singer Pedro Lopes with a smile) – so new that some don’t have a title yet, like “Bife da Vazia” (sirloin steak), “dedicated to every vegan” (it’s a joke, the song has a title which is “Of Excess”). Praising the broth served at the bar and thanking GODARK for the initiative, for bringing up “these nut cases from Lisbon” and keeping the national circuit alive, the first single “Mannequin” and then “The Promise” – featuring EQUALEFT–Miguel Inglês – closed a pretty dynamic and vigorous set.
