PAINTED BLACK was a really nice surprise. I had never seen them before – don’t think I’d ever HEARD about them before  – and I confess I wasn’t expecting such quality in their performance – goth/doom without being excessively depressive.  

They’ve released their debut “Cold Comfort” in 2010, although they were formed 9 years earlier. Better late than never
