Linda-A-Velha has a rich history of punk and hardcore and MORDAÇA is one of the names that most highlights such legacy. The genre itself already fuels the mosh circles and slam dance, but when the lyrics to songs such as “Sempre A Lutar” (always fighting) or “Demência” (dementia) are known to the crowd, witnessing all the commotion gains a special taste. The band’s own posture serves as catalyst, and “because MORDAÇA aren’t quiet after two years and a half”, they played a new song called “Perfeita Palhaçada” (perfect clowining).
