Original Portuguese version written for Glam Magazine.

In October, BETRAYING THE MARTYRS had introduced their new singer, Rui Martins, with the release of the single “Black Hole”. In Vagos, Rui introduced BETRAYING THE MARTYRS as a “band from Paris that now is also from Portugal”. And if you think the cheering to these words was loud, let me tell you it was even louder when he explained that keyboard player Victor Guillet was absent because he was about to become a daddy, and so he promised to do his best in the parts sung by Victor. “Swan Song”, on the other hand, had an exclusive guest on the guitar, the YouTuber João Medeiros.
A set list that went through almost their discography, with a special highlight on “Life Is Precious”, where Rui asked the crowd to “show these baguettes here” how a wall of death was made, smiling proudly at his colleagues in the end: “this is the Portuguese way”.
