DECAPITATED moved the day of their performance but HATE and AT THE GATES changed the year… With these changes, ORPHANED LAND became headliners and R.A.M.P. were called to replace HATE. But a little before their schedule, several drums were heard and a parade of them crossed the venue, led by what I think was a jeep of the local fire department and reared by a couple of processional giants. “Looks like we drew the short straw”, said Rui Duarte when he could finally begin his performance. With less time to play than he’s used to, Rui cut a bit on the sarcasm he’s known for, but still not dismissing a couple of “dedications”.
Many already know the lyrics to their most recent album “Insidiously” but it was songs such as “How”, “Hallelujah” or “Black Tie” that the crowd obliged to “making this the main stage”.
