For those who don’t know GRINDEAD I can confirm that they live up to their name. I could tell you about their members’ history in the national underground but this band, that I believe was born in a rehearsal room about three years ago, has its own merit, not needing the shadow of past glories. Of course such experience had its weight in the writing of “Culture Decline / Machines Arise”, the debut album released via Larvae Records less than two months prior to this gig, and in the savvy they performed with tracks such as “Turn Black”, “The Great Territory Of Dread” or “Those Who Condemn”, but it’s in the present (and future, obviously) that one should focus and acknowledge GRINDEAD as the death/grind powerful party they are.
