Living up to their name, DISCHARGE were an adrenaline release. I believe it was “Fight Back” that guitarist Tezz dedicated to the late icon Lemmy, but the songs were played in such a merciless flurry that it 2was easy to get confused.

At some point (“Hell On Earth”, maybe?), J.J. asked “are we metal enough for you?”; but given the violence of all the mosh and crowdsurf, little did it matter – if it mattered at all – the difference between metal and hardcore to those enjoying this band with almost 40 years of existence.
