First time I’ve seen these kids was precisely on Gaia Em Peso, last year’s edition. And I loved it! They’ve played a few shows ever since around here, but for one reason or another, I missed those. But not this time! And I think they were even better. Well, it’s been a year – it would be kinda bad if they hadn’t evolved 😉

And before you think that it’s because they have two singers and my favorite band is SONIC SYNDICATE… one thing has NOTHING to do with the other. DEAD PHOENIX is a much heavier, more aggressive band. At some point it was even hard to photograph without being pushed by the moshers. Nice to see they’re making quite an impact 🙂
